Biofuels Digest Index gains 0.58 percent to 53.91 on oil, ethanol advance

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.58 percent to 53.91 as oil and ethanol advanced. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 1.85 percent to $27.03, while BP gained 0.51 percent to $45.54. Among small caps, SunOpta (STKL) fell 5.45 percent to $2.08. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 4 for the day.
